I must have stayed at the Le Meridien Singapore at least 5 times now from when it was still under SPG. Being conveniently located in Sentosa and right across from the Sentosa Express Line, the property offers a unique and convenient experience for holiday goers who want to explore the “resort” side of Singapore. As a rather small property (as compared to the other hotels/resorts in Sentosa), you can be assured that you will receive the utmost attention as a guest.
From my past experience as an elite member, I have always been given extraordinary service and recognition (room upgrades and the likes). No complaints at all.
Check-in
Prior to checking in, I was informed that I got upgraded to the Onsen Suite. My third time staying in the suite. As I had a few decorations I wanted to put up in the room apart from the ones that the hotel would have put up, I requested for baggage assistance when I arrived.
Upon arrival, Sarah and her colleague warmly welcomed me and immediately assisted me with my bags from the driveway before proceeding to check me in at the lobby. Sarah explained all my elite benefits (2 free welcome drinks at the bar and some Sentosa express passes) and wished me a happy birthday. The welcome amenities were not awesome, considering that they didn't have a lounge, but I guess, its better than a choice between points and a platter of fruits (which I would have expected as a standard welcome gift).
As I had requested for a connecting room, I could only check into 1 room upon my arrival as only 1 was available at the time of check-in. However, Sarah, upon realizing that I had wanted both rooms to be ready in order to put up decorations up in the rooms, offered for herself and her team to assist me with the decorations once both rooms were ready while I headed out for dinner. Mind you, these were not 1 or 2 banners, but rather a whole stack of party decorations, lights (as the outdoors area would be quite dark at night), a portable fan amongst others. I never would have expected her to offer her assistance and this truly wowed me.
As I walked past the lobby, I saw some of the front office staff stringing together my party decorations to be hung in the room later.

That is so crazy! I was thoroughly Impressed that the staff would go above and beyond, to such lengths, just to ensure that their guest would stay comfortably and to make my birthday extremely special. Kudos to Sarah and her team at the Le Meridien!

Look at the additional cables they so nicely laid out for me!
Room & Facilities
The Onsen Suite is impressive. One of the largest rooms in the property and I believe they only have about less than 30 of such configurations. The bedroom although was not particularly large was not an issue as the main attraction was the Onsen anyway.

A stair from the room leads down to your own private oasis - An onsen with a Jaccuzi function as well as temperature control. The Onsen area also comprised of a large cloth sofa and a square sized table.
I particularly like the vibe of the Le Meridien as it is rather in line with the resort and beach area that it is located in, and away from the city. This together with the simplistic décor and lush greenery makes you feel completely relaxed. Although, I have to say, the Onsen area would get pretty dark at night. The hotel also has an amazing full sized pool area located right in the middle of the hotel, If you ever get bored of your Onsen.
Breakfast
Breakfast at the Le Meridien across all my stays has been rather mediocre and typical, offering a mix of continental breakfast with quite a few local delights such as pratas, fried rice as well as some dim sum. However, if you’d prefer, there isn’t a lack of dining options in the area with a few fast food restaurants and a convenient store within walking distance.
Overall, this has been the most impressive and exceptional Marriott hotel in Singapore that I have stayed at in terms of service.
